Sr Noelene Simmons sm 150In an interview for Global Sisters Report, ACRATH President Sister Noelene Simmons sm discussed the nature of human trafficking in Australia and the gains made by Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans (ACRATH) in their advocacy.

She explains that trafficking in Australia takes the form of forced labor in agriculture and hospitality and forced marriage of young women of ethnic origins.

Sr Noelene also talks about ACRATH's advocacy wins and how her work has helped her as a religious woman growing in greater awareness of human rights and being reenergised by collaboration and partnerships through her work.
